Arlington Curling Club

The Sub-Zero Mini Bonspiel is a great way to introduce new curlers to the sport and culture of curling bonspiels. Curling instruction, team play, as well as plenty of socializing and fun will be the goal for the day. Sign up as a team, or sign up individually and we will find a team for you.

About the event

$25 per curler


Build a curling team of 4 people, the event is open to Sub-Zero employees as well as friends and family.  No children please. Non-curling guests can attend for $10, which includes lunch (guests pay cash at the door).

If you have never curled before, you should arrive at the club by 9:45 AM.  At 10:00AM we will go over the rules and have some on ice instruction. We will have sliders for your shoes and club brooms available for sweeping.  


The first draw time will be at 11:00AM. You will alternate between being on the ice for 45 minutes and then socializing and watching the other shift curl for 45 minutes. Your team will play two games to determine your cumulative score. Each game will consists of 2 ends that take about 45 minutes.  Once you complete your game, it is curling etiquette to sit down…
